ID 14-0756 Consider adoption of an ordinance canvassing the returns and declaring the results of an election held in the city of Denton, Texas, on November 4, 2014, prohibiting, within the corporate limits of the city of Denton, Texas, hydraulic fracturing, a well stimulation process involving the use of water, sand and/or chemical additives pumped under high pressure to fracture subsurface non-porous rock formations such as shale to improve the flow of natural gas, oil, or other hydrocarbons into the well, with subsequent high rate, extended flowback to expel fracture fluids and solids; and providing an effective date.
C. ID 14-0757 Consider adoption of an ordinance canvassing the returns and declaring the results of an election held in the city of Denton, Texas, on November 4, 2014 to legalize the sale of all alcoholic beverages including mixed beverages; and providing an effective date.

ID 14-0758 Consider adoption of an ordinance canvassing the returns and declaring the results of an election held in the city of Denton, Texas, on November 4, 2014, for the purpose of determining whether to enact an ordinance authorizing the sale of real property consisting of 1.6598± acres and being a portion of North Lakes Park owned, held, or claimed as a park and being a tract of land in the Robert Beaumont Survey, Abstract No. 31, and being a portion of that certain tract conveyed to said city of Denton by deed recorded in Volume 647, Page 245, of the Denton County Deed Records; and providing an effective date.

The subject property is generally located along the service road of I-35E, approximately 200 feet southeast of Lillian B. Miller Parkway, in the City of Denton, Denton County, Texas; and providing for a penalty in the maximum amount of $2,000.00 for violations thereof, severability, and an effective date (Z14-0016). The subject property is generally located on the northeast corner of Bonnie Brae Street and Riney Road, in the City of Denton, Denton County, Texas; and providing for a penalty in the maximum amount of $2,000.00 for violations thereof, severability, and an effective date (S14-0005). The Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval of this request (7-0).
