After determining that a quorum is present, the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas will convene in a Special Called Meeting on Monday, November 16, 2009 at 08:30 a.m. in the City Council Chambers, 215 E. McKinney Street , Denton, Texas at which the following items will be considered:

Consider adoption of an ordinance canvassing the returns and declaring the results of the municipal election to amend the city charter of the City of Denton on November 3, 2009; entering an order in the records of the municipality declaring that the charter amendments are adopted; and providing an effective date.
