Tract 2 is generally located on the east side of Western Boulevard, approximately 425 feet south of U.S. 380 and 1,700 feet north of Jim Christal Road; and providing for a penalty in the maximum amount of $2,000.00 for violations, thereof, severability and an effective date. (CA14-0002) The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of this request (5-0).

Z14-0009 Hold a public hearing and consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, Texas, providing for a zoning change from an Employment Center Commercial (EC-C) zoning district and use classification to an Industrial Center General (IC-G) zoning district and use classification on two tracts totaling approximately 131.7 acres of land. Tract 1 is generally located on the northwest corner of Western Boulevard and Jim Christal Road. Tract 2 is generally located on the east side of Western Boulevard, approximately 425 feet south of U.S. 380 and 1,700 feet north of Jim Christal Road; and providing for a penalty in the maximum amount of $2,000.00 for violations, thereof, severability and an effective date. (Z14-0009) The Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z) recommended approval of this request (5-0).

G. A14-0001b Hold the second of two public hearings to consider the adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton annexing 40.33 acres of land, more or less, generally located on the west side of Cooper Creek Road, approximately 800 feet south of Silver Dome Road, and approximately 1,800 feet north of Mingo Road, more specifically described in Exhibits "A" and "B"; approving a service plan for the subject property and temporarily placing the property in the Rural Residential - 5 (RD-5) zoning district; providing for a correction of the City Map to include the annexed lands; providing for a savings clause and effective date. ID 14-0443 Hold a public hearing and consider approval of a resolution approving the site proposed for reconstruction the existing Locust Substation in the general area between the intersection of Locust and E.
