A. Consider appointments to the Development Code Review Committee.
B. Consider approval of a resolution of the City of Denton providing for removal for cause of a Member of the Health and Building Standards Commission, in accordance with Article XIV, Section 14.16 of the Denton City Charter; providing notice; and providing an effective date.
C. Consider approval of a resolution of the City of Denton nominating PACCAR, Inc., to the Office of the Governor Economic Development and Tourism through the Economic Development Bank as an Enterprise Project; and providing an effective date. The Economic Development Partnership Board recommends approval (9-0).
D. Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation, authorizing the City Manager, or their designee, to execute a contract with Gomez Floor Covering, Inc. dba GFC Contracting, to provide new installations, renovations, remodels, and maintenance for flooring services for various City of Denton departments, on behalf of Facilities Management; providing for the expenditure of funds therefor; and providing an effective date (RFP 7719 - awarded to Gomez Floor Covering, Inc. dba GFC Contracting, for one (1) year, with the option for four (4) additional one (1) year extensions, in the total five (5) year not-to-exceed amount of $5,000,000.00).
E. Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton confirming the effective period of the declared state of local disaster related to the COVID-19 emergency as provided in Ordinance No. 21-1290; superseding and replacing the Thirteenth Order of Council issued August 12, 2021 approved by Ordinance No. 21-1771; providing a repealer clause; providing for severability; and providing an effective date.
F. Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation, authorizing the City Manager to execute a lease with Core Scientific, Inc. for approximately 30 acres of City-owned property located in the Moses H. Davis Survey, Abstract No. 377, and in the Johnson, Green, Myers, and Brummett Survey, Abstract No. 1699, all in the City and County of Denton, Texas; and providing an effective date.
G. Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation, approving a power purchase agreement between the City and Core Scientific Inc., a Delaware corporation; providing for the expenditure of funds; and providing for an Effective Date.
