4. OTHER BUSINESS:
B. Preservation Officers Report
Boykin was discussing to get feedback to do preliminary is really a formality and doesnt require a PH, the final action does. Thoughts for putting on consent, since a number will be coming before us, Put on CA and if want to talk about a certain one can be taken to have action held on it. The backup and such will still be back up in packet. Laura- staff approved? Boykin provided info for how consent works. Pati- wouldnt support this. Feel when people are in the process and want to move forward, least we can do is to give them full opportunity to speak. I don't like CC consent agenda at CC. These are residents that have taken time and interest to come before us. Conte and if considered separately it gives times for the applicant to ask questions like Catherine did. This is the first round for them to have discussion. Laura I could go either way. I like the idea for consent. Unless there is something really standout then we are going to approve it. Conte since we have bene on this board havent been asked to vote for something we wouldnt fully agree with. What you are saying is it is basically consent any way. Eric I agree, wouldnt want to hold up the process any more. I like it being a part of the agenda some way so council knows the residents exist. They are adding value to them selves to their district, look, and upkeep, it deserve to be noticed. WE cant create or approve that. Would kinda be cool for themto know it, but that we get to have that interaction. Boykin do they come back for designation, for the HLC part of it. Laura if on consent would there be applicant or public time to speak. Conte no. pati never as this body vote on consent and dont see point on it. Conte dont see an issue with keeping it as it is, but see some questions for consent. So maybe to leave it as is. Commission agreed.
