REGULAR MEETING

A. Consultation with Attorneys - Under Texas Government Code Section 551.071 Consultation with the City's attorneys regarding legal issues associated with Texas Civil Practice & Remedies Code Chapter 110 (Religious Freedom) where a public discussion of these legal matters would conflict with the duty of the City's attorneys to the City of Denton, the Denton City Council and the Historic Landmark Commission under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas, or would jeopardize the City's legal position in any administrative proceedings or potential litigation. The Historic Landmark Commission of the City of Denton will convene a regularly called meeting on December 8, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Work Session Room at City Hall, located at 215 E. McKinney Street, Denton, Texas 76201.

B. Hold a public hearing and consider approval of a Certificate of Appropriateness to modify the exterior paint color of the house located at 1721 West Oak Street. The site is located within the West Oak Area Historic District. (COA14-0097, 1721 West Oak Street, Cindy Jackson)

C. Consider a preliminary application for Historic Landmark Designation for the property located at 1109 West Congress Street, and provide a recommendation regarding the appropriateness of the property to proceed to a final application. (HL14-0013, 1109 West Congress Street, Cindy Jackson)

D. Hold a public hearing and consider a final application for a Historic Landmark Designation request for the property located at 801 West Oak Street, and provide a recommendation to the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council. (HL140011, 801 West Oak Street, Cindy Jackson)

6. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS: Under Section 551.042 of the Texas Open Meetings Act, respond to inquiries from the Historic Landmark Commission or the public with specific factual information or recitation of policy, or accept a proposal to place the matter on the agenda for an upcoming meeting.
