4. PUBLIC HEARINGS:

A. Hold a public hearing and consider a variance from Section 35.15.14.2.B.1 of the Denton Development Code (DDC) regarding maximum height and effective area for ground signs and from Section 35.15.14.2.D of the DDC regarding maximum number of ground signs on a property. The approximately 0.72 acre site, commonly known as 712 Ft Worth Drive, is located on the west side of Ft Worth Drive, approximately 225 feet north of N I-35E and 375 feet south of Lindsey Street. The subject property is located within a Downtown Commercial General (DC-G) zoning district. (ZBA13-0011, Whataburger #181, Mike Bell)

5. OTHER BUSINESS:

A. Discuss future training items.

6. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS: Under Section 551.042 of the Texas Open Meetings Act, respond to inquiries from the Zoning Board of Adjustment or the public with specific factual information or recitation of policy, or accept a proposal to place the matter on the agenda for an upcoming meeting.
