2. CONSENT AGENDA: Staff recommends approval of the following items because they meet the requirements of the Denton Development Code. Approval of the Consent Agenda includes staff recommendations for approvals and authorizes staff to proceed. The Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed the applications and has had an opportunity to raise questions regarding the items prior to consideration:

Hold a public hearing and consider a recommendation to City Council regarding a Specific Use Permit for a Basic Utility, a Denton Municipal Electric Substation, on approximately 7.3 acres located on the south side of McKinney Street, approximately 1,200 feet east of Mack Drive. The subject property is located within Neighborhood Residential Mixed Use (NRMU) and Neighborhood Residential Mixed Use 12 (NRMU-12) zoning districts. (S15-0003, DME McKinney Substation, Mike Bell)
B. Hold a public hearing and consider making a recommendation to City Council regarding a Specific Use Permit (SUP) for Multi-Family Dwellings. The approximately 6.93 acre site is generally located 605 feet west of South I-35E and 540 feet north of Wind River Lane.
