After determining that a quorum is present, the Planning and Zoning Commission will convene a Work Session on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 06:17 PM in the City Council Work Session Room at City Hall, 215 E. McKinney Street, Denton, Texas at which time the following items will be considered:

1.	Clarification of agenda items listed in the Regular Session agenda for this meeting, and discussion of issues not briefed in the written backup materials.

REGULAR MEETING

NOTE: The Planning and Zoning Commission reserves the right to adjourn into a Closed Meeting on any item on its Work Session or Regular Session agendas at any time, consistent with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, as amended, including without limitation, Sections 551.071-551.086 of the Texas Open Meetings Act.

After completing the Work Session, the Planning and Zoning Commission will convene a Regular Meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Denton, Texas which will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 and will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 215 E. McKinney at which time the following items will be considered:

B. Texas Flag "Honor the Texas Flag - I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas one state under God, one and indivisible."

2. CONSIDER APPROVAL OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MINUTES FOR:

A. January 6, 2010

4. ITEMS FOR INDIVIDUAL CONSIDERATION:

A. Alternative Development Plan (ADP) for a church. The approximately 7.908-acre property is located at the southwest corner of Lattimore Street and Audra Lane. The property is located within a Neighborhood Residential 4 (NR-4) zoning district. (ADP09-0013, Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God, Erica Marohnic)

3. CONSENT AGENDA: Staff recommends approval of the following items because they meet the requirements of the Denton Development Code. Approval of the Consent Agenda includes staff recommendations for approval and authorizes staff to proceed. The Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed the applications and has had an opportunity to raise questions regarding the items prior to consideration:

A. Final Plat of Lot 1, Block A of the BioLife Plasma Addition. The 3.5231-acre property is located at the northeast corner of Brinker Road and Quail Creek Drive. The property is located within a Regional Commercial Center Neighborhood (RCC-N) zoning district. (FP09-0019, BioLife Plasma Addition, Jane Gurney)

B. Preliminary Plat of Lot 1, Block 1 of the Faith Tabernacle Assemble of God Addition. The approximately 7.908-acre site is generally located at the southwest corner of Lattimore Street and Audra Lane. The property is located within a Neighborhood Residential 4 (NR-4) zoning district. C. Final Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Corinth South Addition. The approximately 5.961-acre site is located at the northwest corner of Teasley Lane and Old Alton Road. 5. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS: Under Section 551.042 of the Texas Open Meetings Act, respond to inquiries from the Planning and Zoning Commission or the public with specific factual information or recitation of policy, or accept a proposal to place the matter on the agenda for an upcoming meeting.
