3. | CONSENT AGENDA A: Staff recommends approval of the following items because they meet the requirements of the Denton Development Code. Approval of the Consent Agenda includes staff recommendations for approvals and authorizes staff to proceed. The Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed the applications and has had an opportunity to raise questions regarding the items prior to consideration: |
A. Final Replat of a portion of Lots 1 and 2, Block 28 of the Original Town of Denton Addition, and a portion of Lots 10 and 11 of the Wainwright Addition. The approximately 0.68 acre site is generally located north of Prairie Street, east of Locust Street, and west of Wainwright Street. The property is located within a Downtown Commercial General (DC-G) zoning district. (FR10-0004, King Addition, Nana Appiah)
A. Consider DENIAL of a preliminary plat of The Rumor Addition, Lot 1, Block A, due to inactivity. The approximately 1.103 acre site is located on the south side of McKinney Street and approximately 285 feet east of the intersection of McKinney Street and Frame Street. The property is located within a Downtown Commercial-General (DC-G) zoning district. (PP08-0021, The Rumor, Johnna Matthews)
B. Consider DENIAL of a final plat of the Rumor Addition, Lot 1, Block A, due to inactivity. The approximately 1.103 acre site is located on the south side of McKinney Street and approximately 285 feet east of the intersection of McKinney Street and Frame Street. A. An amendment of the Fry Street Overlay District, Section 35.7.5 of the Denton Development Code. The proposed amendments are to update Code references in the text of the overlay district (DCA10-0004) and to create a subarea of approximately 4.275 acres for a proposed mixed use development located on the block bound by Oak, Hickory, Fry, and Welch Streets (Z10-0009), with an associated set of regulations specific to the proposed mixed use development.
