The subject site is located within a Downtown Commercial General (DC-G) zoning district, and is subject to the Fry Street Overlay District requirements.
a. An amendment of the Fry Street Overlay District, Section 35.7.5 of the Denton Development Code. The proposed amendments are to update Code references in the text of the overlay district (DCA10-0004) and to create a subarea of approximately 4.275 acres for a proposed mixed use development (Z10-0009), with an associated set of regulations specific to the proposed mixed use development. 3. Receive a report, hold a discussion, and give staff direction concerning:
a. Proposed amendments to Subchapter 22 of the Denton Development Code (DDC) regarding gas well drilling and production;
b. Proposed amendments to Subchapter 16 of the DDC regarding gas well development platting;
c. Proposed amendments to the schedule of fees contained in Ordinance 2005-237 pertaining to gas well drilling and production within the City limits and the Extraterritorial Jurisdiction; and
d. Types of analytical testing that have been conducted at other gas well monitoring efforts in the Barnett Shale.
A. Consider DENIAL of a preliminary plat of The Rumor Addition, Lot 1, Block A, due to inactivity. The approximately 1.103 acre site is located on the south side of McKinney Street and approximately 285 feet east of the intersection of McKinney Street and Frame Street.
