AFTER DETERMINING THAT A QUORUM IS PRESENT, THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY OF DENTON CITY COUNCIL WILL CONVENE AT 6:30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL, 215 E. MCKINNEY STREET, DENTON, TEXAS AT WHICH THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WILL BE CONSIDERED:

D. Consider approval of a resolution of the City of Denton adopting Policy No. 500.08 “Trespass Warning on City Property” of the City of Denton Policies and Procedures; and declaring an effective date.
F. Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton authorizing the City Manager to execute an Agreement between the City of Denton and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of North Texas (OLLI at UNT) to offer a discounted membership option to Denton Parks and Recreation Pass holders 50 years and older and utilize space provided by City of Denton Recreation Centers; authorizing the City Manager, to perform all obligations of the city under the agreement and providing an effective date.

Hold a public hearing and consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, Texas regarding a request to rezone approximately 15.9 acres from Residential 7 (R7) district to a Planned Development (PD) district; the site is generally located south of E McKinney Street, approximately 990 feet east of Mayhill Road, in the City of Denton, Denton County, Texas; adopting an amendment to the City’s official zoning map; providing for a penalty in the maximum amount of $2,000.00 for violations thereof; providing a severability clause and an effective date. The Planning and Zoning Commission voted [7-0] to recommend approval the request. (PD20-0007c, Love First Community Village, Karina Maldonado).
B. Hold a public hearing and consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton adopting Standards of Care for recreational care programs administered by Denton’s Parks and Recreation department pursuant to Texas Human Resources Code Section 42.041(b)(14); and the Denton Parks and Recreation 2022 Summer Camp Manual; and providing an effective date.
A. Consider adoption of an ordinance directing the publication of Notice of Intention to issue $20,570,000 in principal amount of Certificates of Obligation of the City of Denton for General Government and Solid Waste projects; and providing for an effective date. The Public Utilities Board recommended approval (4-0).
B. Consider adoption of an ordinance directing the publication of Notice of Intention to issue $120,950,000 in principal amount of Certificates of Obligation of the City of Denton for Waterworks and Wastewater System and Electric System projects; and providing for an effective date. The Public Utilities Board recommended approval (4-0).
C. Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation, authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with Texas Materials Group, Inc., dba TexasBit, for the construction of the Southeast Denton Package A Project consisting of the reconstruction of 22 roadway segments, including water and wastewater main replacement, located within the Southeast Denton Neighborhood; providing for the expenditure of funds therefor; and providing an effective date (CSP 7896 - awarded to Texas Materials Group, Inc., dba TexasBit, in the not-to-exceed amount of $6,642,789.97). The Public Utilities Board recommends approval (4 - 0).
D. Consider approval of a resolution by the City of Denton authorizing the City Manager to apply for funding under the Denton County Transportation Reinvestment Program (TRiP), providing financial assistance to member cities for transit-supportive projects, through the Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) in the amount of $3,074,578 for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 funding period; and providing an effective date.
