AE. Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton authorizing the City Manager to execute an Interlocal Agreement between the City of Denton, by and through its Police Department, and the Denton County District Attorney, for the disposition of contraband seized and forfeited under Chapter 59, Texas Code of Criminal Procedure; and providing an effective date.
A. Hold a public hearing and consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, regarding a change in the zoning district and use classification from Residential Rural (RR) District to Residential 1 (R1) District on approximately 2.00 acres of land generally located east of Masch Branch Road and approximately 2,175 feet south of FM 1173, in the City of Denton, Denton County, Texas; adopting an amendment to the City’s Official Zoning Map; providing for a penalty in the maximum amount of $2,000.00 for violations thereof; providing a severability clause and an effective date. The Planning and Zoning Commission voted [6-1] to recommend approval of the request. (Z22-0001a, Masch Branch Rezoning, Lisa Payne).
B. Hold a public hearing and consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, approving a Specific Use Permit to allow for a townhome use on approximately 8.382 acres of land, generally located west of Mayhill Road and approximately 825 feet south of the intersection of Mayhill Road and Prominence Parkway, in the City of Denton, Denton County, Texas; providing for a penalty in the maximum amount of $2,000.00 for violations thereof; providing for severability; and establishing an effective date. C. Hold a public hearing and consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, regarding an amendment to the Rayzor Ranch Overlay District to amend the Landscape Plan and development standards for development within Lot 11 of the Rayzor Ranch North Addition, located within the Rayzor Ranch North Campus - Marketplace District, being approximately 14.974 acres generally located on the east side of interstate 35, approximately 600 feet north of the intersection of Interstate 35 and W University Drive in the City of Denton, Denton County, Texas; adopting an amendment to the City’s official zoning map; providing for a penalty in the maximum amount of $2,000.00 for violations thereof; providing a severability clause and an effective date. (HL22-0001c, 123 N Elm Street - Tax Exemption, Cameron Robertson) The Historic Landmark Commission recommends approval (6-0).
