After determining that a quorum is present, the Public Art Committee of the City of Denton, Texas will convene in a Special Called Meeting on Monday, June 22, 202 at 3:00 p.m. in the Council Work Session Room at City Hall, 215 E. McKinney Street, Denton, Texas, at which the following items will be considered:
A. Consider approval of the minutes of March 5 and June 4, 2020.
B. Receive a report, hold a discussion, and give staff direction regarding the Public Art Committee (PAC) application for FY 2020-2021 Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT) funds.
C. Receive a report, hold a discussion, and give staff direction regarding the Original Denton District's application for FY 2020-2021 Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT) funds.
D. Receive a report, hold a discussion, and give staff direction regarding selection of members for a subcommittee for the Denton Women’s Interracial Fellowship project.
E. Receive a report, hold a discussion, and give staff direction regarding the status of the following Public Art Committee projects: 1. North Lakes Dog Park 2. G. Roland Vela Athletic Complex 3. Tennis Center 4. Fire Station No. 3 5. Foundations of Our History Mural 6. MLK, Jr. Rec Center Sculpture
F. Receive a report, hold a discussion, and give staff direction regarding cancelling the regularly scheduled July 2 meeting and calling a special called meeting.
G. Receive a report, hold a discussion, and give staff direction regarding an application made by the Denton Festival Foundation, Inc. for a Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA) Arts Respond - Cultural District Project grant and ratifying a letter of support.
H. Staff Reports: 1. Update on July 2, 2020 Public Art Committee Meeting
