A. Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation, authorizing the approval of Change Order No. 2 to the contract between the City of Denton and Jagoe-Public Company, for the PEC 4 Phases 1 & 2 Project; providing for the expenditure of funds therefor; and providing an effective date (IFB 6900-001 - Change Order No. 2 in the not-to-exceed amount of $216,418.09, for a total contract award aggregated to $11,212,945.51).
A. Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation, confirming the effective period of the declared state of local disaster; superseding and replacing the Seventh Order of Council of the City of Denton issued June 26, 2020 approved by Ordinance No. 20-1255, to provide additional requirements and guidance; confirming the expenditure of funds; providing a repealer clause; and providing an effective date.
B. Consider approval of a resolution of the City of Denton approving the assignment of agreements between the City of Denton and Monsignor King Outreach Center (MKOC) to Our Daily Bread (ODB); and providing an effective date.
C. Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton regarding a special permit, pursuant to Section 17-20(c)(3)(f) of the Code of Ordinances, for Links Construction, LLC to perform construction work at 3500 North Bonnie Brae Street, outside of times normally allowed under Denton’s Noise Ordinance for no more than two days per week from July 31, 2020 to September 30, 2020, from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. for certain specified locations and from 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. for specified concrete pour sites located directly adjacent to the Brentwood Place Townhomes, and providing an effective date.
D. Consider adoption of an ordinance approving a settlement agreement and release between the City of Denton, Marker Stone Realty Partners I, LLC, and Marker Stone Realty Partners II, LLC, regarding issues and disputes related to a development agreement approved under Ordinance No. 18-2168 and the development of subdivisions referenced therein; authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to execute the same; approving the expenditure of funds therefor; and declaring an effective date.
E. Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation, authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with 2L Construction, LLC, for the construction of the West Hickory Street Paving, Lighting & Drainage Improvements Project for the City of Denton; providing for the expenditure of funds therefor; and providing an effective date (IFB 7163 - awarded to 2L Construction, LLC, in the not-to-exceed amount of $1,919,503.95).
F. Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation, authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with Jagoe-Public Company, for the construction of the McKinney Street/Mayhill Intersection project for the City of Denton; providing for the expenditure of funds therefor; and providing an effective date (IFB 7381 - awarded to Jagoe-Public Company in the not-to-exceed amount of $4,391,631.04).
G. Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation, authorizing the approval of Change Order No. 1 to the contract between the City of Denton and Jagoe-Public Company, for the McKinney Street Widening Phase II project; providing for the expenditure of funds therefor; and providing an effective date (IFB 7154 - Change Order No. 1 in the not-to-exceed amount of $382,380.48 for a total contract award aggregated to $10,854,202.23).
H. Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation, authorizing the approval of Change Order No. 1 to the contract between the City of Denton and Quality Excavation, LLC, for the 2019 Street Reconstruction project for the City of Denton with geographical limits as follows: Hercules Lane from Locust Street to Stuart Road, Scripture Street from Thomas Street to Jagoe Street, Thomas Street from West Oak Street to Panhandle Street, and Windsor Drive from North Locust Street to Armstrong Street; providing for the expenditure of funds therefor; and providing an effective date (IFB 7237 - Change Order No. 1 in the not-to-exceed amount of $81,087.45 for a total contract award aggregated to $10,283,442.90).
